The Problem

Today, leadership training is expensive, time-intensive and exclusive. Most of us have to wait until we are 42 to have our first leadership training experience. We’re here to democratise leadership.  With Stride, you become a leader at your pace, on your terms. With your very own personalised, leadership training companion in your pocket. Think, Headspace for first-time leaders.

I am motivated by our product’s potential to make leadership genuinely representative. We need new leaders, new CEOs, new politicians and new entrepreneurs - new leaders to build teams, organisations, cultures and countries that are fit for all of us; not just a few white, male, elite.

The Product

Stride is your personal leadership companion. The app will teach you how to practice good leadership, offer you support from your peers, and offer an audio library of over 20+ original modules, inspirational stories, and methods to help you become the best leader you can be.

Current status

Our team is based in NYC, Sweden and now London. The business was born in Sweet Studio and I’m ecstatic to join as CEO.

Why

I’ve spent the last decade leading and working with leaders in start-ups, scale-ups, institutions and charities. I’ve lived the challenge of learning to lead on the job, where there is no budget for “training” and you rely on books and podcasts. I’ve met first-time managers, who suddenly find themselves in a position that nobody has ever taught them how to thrive in. I’ve met young entrepreneurs who are challenging the status quo and learning to lead by trial and error. Every week I meet people desperate to learn how to do this stuff, yet they can’t afford fancy consultants. Stride is how they will learn.

For me, Stride is a natural next step. From building consulting businesses to building product businesses. I've known for many years that I want to build a product and I want to build a business that can genuinely scale. I’m happiest when starting, building and solving a problem. Building communities is part of who I am and I'm excited to finally build the product that will genuinely support and give power to the community I represent. Women only represent 20.4% of board positions. Then there was Stride.
