We have more power than we dare imagine
Please come with me to march in central London this Saturday for an equal world. Let's fight the politics of fear.
This Saturday, the first day of Trump's presidency, women, men and children from all over America are marching in their cities in an effort to promote unity and tolerance, and religious, sexual and political freedom. In support of my American sisters and of women worldwide, I will be marching along with more than 14 thousand people. There are 370 “sister marches” set to take place across the world. Women's March London assembles at Grosvenor Square at noon and finishes with a rally in Trafalgar Square from 2pm.
The organisers of The Women’s March on Washington have a released a four-page “Guiding Vision and Definition of Principles” document, outlining the purpose and motivation of the woman-led movement. The document, prepared by over 20 diverse contributors from various organisations, lists the values guiding the march, takes firm stances on human rights issues ranging from reproductive rights to racial justice to immigration reform, and acknowledges that all of these issues intersect.

The posters will be overwhelmingly powerful. Image credit.
