A law without logic

Dispatches: Too old to work featured on channel four last night.

"With the number of unemployed people in the UK nudging two million, Dispatches reveals the ageism rife amongst employers and recruitment agencies. Is the job market a level playing field for job seekers of all ages?"

This program highlighted that many people across Britain have experienced the same poor service from the Job Centre that I recently mentioned.

Infact, it proved that "agism is rife". The unemployed over 50's are "a wonderful resource" being wasted by our country.

Skilled and experienced jobless individuals are left feeling "useless, unwanted, demoralised and worthless..."

A participant aptly voiced "I want to use my brain."

Again, I am left questioning who will help the unemployed? How can the skill set of a Service Designer contribute to unraveling this problem?
